Gümrük AI is a research assistant that answers Turkish customs regulation and HS code (GTİP) classification questions with source citations. This guide walks a new user through the first 5 minutes from sign-up to first case.

1. Sign up

Visit /signup and register with email + password. You can also sign in with your Google or Microsoft account from the login screen. We recommend a work email; disposable email services are blocked.

After sign-up you will receive a verification link. Click it within 24 hours.

2. Workspace selection

If you arrived via an invite link, your workspace is already assigned. Activity is logged under this workspace. Manage members and roles under Settings → Members.

3. First HS code search

Open the GTİP tab. Describe the product clearly — material, form, intended use, and any treatment. Example:

"polyethylene granules, white, food-contact grade, for import"

The system returns structured classification candidates plus regulatory citations. When confidence is low, alternative codes are listed with their reasoning — refine your description and search again.

4. Tax simulation

Use the Vergi (taxes) tab to estimate import duty, additional customs duty and VAT for a HS code. Each line item shows its regulatory source; items not included in the estimate (e.g. ÖTV) are flagged explicitly. Export to PDF when you need a permanent record.

5. Pre-check

Use the Dosyalar (cases) tab to upload a real draft declaration. The system flags missing documents, regulatory conflicts, and risk markers, each with a clickable citation.
